Terms of Use

IquraPhotos lets event attendees find photos of themselves using face recognition. You provide one selfie, or upload one photo; we compute a temporary face signature and return the matching event photos. Your selfie is processed in memory only and is never stored — see the Privacy Policy.

Accepting these Terms in the gallery concludes an agreement in electronic form. Under Article 11 of the Law of Ukraine "On Electronic Commerce" No. 675-VIII, that has the same effect as agreeing in writing.

IquraPhotos is offered in Ukraine and nowhere else: organizers based in Ukraine, events held in Ukraine, attendees who are in Ukraine when they use it.

• We do not offer, market or direct the service to people outside Ukraine, and we do not accept organizers whose events are held elsewhere.
• Organizers warrant, in their agreement with us, that the event is held in Ukraine and that they will not make face search available to attendees in another country.
• By using face search you confirm that you are in Ukraine. If you are not, please do not use it — you may still browse the gallery where the organizer has made it public.

We may refuse or withdraw the service for an event outside this scope. If we ever extend to another country, we will publish the terms that apply there first.

• The event organizer owns and controls the event photos, sets the event's visibility, configures how search works, and may display sponsors under their agreement. The organizer is the controller of personal data (володілець персональних даних).
• IquraPhotos provides the technology and processes data on the organizer's documented instructions (розпорядник персональних даних). We are not responsible for the content of event photos or for the organizer's decisions about their event.

You must be able to give valid consent to the processing of biometric data. Face search is disabled — at the server, not only in the interface — until you tick the consent box. You confirm that the face you submit is your own and that you are entitled to search for it. The service is intended for adults.

You agree not to:

• search for, or attempt to identify, other people without authorization;
• upload faces that are not your own;
• extract, scrape, reverse-engineer or reconstruct face templates or photos;
• bypass the access controls of private or closed events;
• overload, probe or disrupt the service, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

Misuse may result in your access being blocked. Face search is a tool for finding yourself; it must never be used as a means of identifying anyone else.

Event photos belong to the organizer or their photographers. IquraPhotos claims no ownership of them and is not responsible for them.

To remove your face templates, use the in-product self-service deletion: verify the face is yours with a token and a live selfie, then select and delete your matches. This gives effect to your right under Articles 8 and 15 of the Law of Ukraine "On Personal Data Protection" to withdraw consent and have the data deleted.

To remove an actual photograph, contact the event organizer directly. Your rights over your own image under Articles 307 and 308 of the Civil Code of Ukraine are exercised against whoever publishes it — the organizer. IquraPhotos cannot decide what stays in an organizer's gallery.

The service, its software and the IquraPhotos branding are owned by IquraPhotos. These Terms grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the service to find your own photos. Sponsor and organizer marks belong to their respective owners.

Any photos you "save" are stored locally in your own browser. They are not an account with us and are not uploaded to our servers.

Face recognition is probabilistic: it may miss matches or, rarely, surface a close look-alike. The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability.

To the maximum extent permitted by the law of Ukraine, IquraPhotos is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for the content, availability or removal of event photos, which are the organizer's responsibility. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your rights under the Law of Ukraine "On Consumer Rights Protection" where it applies to you.

IquraPhotos is short-term by design — a search tool for the weeks around an event, not an archive. Face templates are deleted within thirty (30) days and event photos within ninety (90) days (from upload, or from the end of the event if that is later), unless the organizer removes them sooner. So: download the photos you want while you can. Once a window closes, the organizer's own copies are the only ones left.

We may modify, suspend or discontinue the service or any individual event at the organizer's request or to protect the service. We may update these Terms; continued use after a change means you accept them.

We are a small, independent service. We may stop operating IquraPhotos permanently — if it does not turn out to be commercially viable, or for any other reason. If that happens:

• We will give organizers as much advance notice as is reasonably possible, normally at least thirty (30) days, so they can retrieve their photos. We do not guarantee that the service, any gallery or any photo stays available for any particular period, and we do not undertake to reopen a service we have closed.
• The photos belong to the organizer, who keeps their own master copies. Download anything you want to keep when you find it — a photo you did not download is not preserved for you.
• All personal data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy. It is not sold, licensed or handed to anyone else.
• Our liability for closing the service is limited to refunding an organizer prepaid fees for a period in which the service is no longer provided. Beyond that, and beyond what cannot be excluded by law, we are not liable for the service ceasing to be available.

We know "the service is gone" is a poor answer if you were still looking for your photos, and we are sorry for it. It is also why nothing here relies on us existing forever: the photos stay the organizer's, your saved list lives in your own browser, and we hold biometric data for the shortest window we can.

These Terms are governed exclusively by the law of Ukraine, and disputes are subject to the competent courts of Ukraine, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections available to you under the Law of Ukraine "On Consumer Rights Protection". No other country's law is chosen or intended to apply, because the service is not offered anywhere else.
